Funeral Assistance Programs
Funeral Assistance Program
Eternal Peace Funeral Services offers a variety of charities programs, county programs, and victim compensations for families needing funeral expenses assistance. To apply, please call us.

Travis County Burial Program provides assistance for those individuals and families who have no resources to cover the cost of a burial or cremation.
County staff must collect information to prove the decedent's income, resources and the income and resources of the legal next of kin, as defined in Texas Health and Safety Code.., Section 711.002, "Disposition of Remains, Duty to Inter".
All applicants will be given time to collect required documentation and information. Income for the househoald is counted including the decedent's income only if he/she resided with the applicant at the time of death. If the next of kin did not live with the decedent then the deceased's income is considered a resource. Income eligibility is the federal poverty level, and there is a limit to resources.
Eternal Peace Funeral Services is contracted with the program to assist with direct burial or cremation services.
