Meet Adeline

Adeline's story and the founding of Eternal Peace Funeral and Cremation Services

In 2020, Adeline faced the heartbreaking loss of her father and the daunting challenge of planning her first funeral. Seeking guidance, she turned to a friend that worked as a funeral counselor for a funeral home in Austin. During the arrangement, Adeline was presented with a cremation service priced at over $10,000. While reviewing the contract, Adeline noticed that many of the selected services did not align with her family’s wishes and were unnecessarily expensive. She removed several services and requested a simple witness cremation limited to immediate family members. The funeral counselor, visibly upset by the lower cost of services, remarked, “This is the cheapest at-need agreement I have ever written!” This comment left Adeline feeling ashamed and undervalued. After reflecting on the experience with her family, she realized the guilt she felt stemmed from the funeral staff prioritizing profit over her family’s needs. This moment sparked her inspiration to create a funeral home that prioritizes families and their wishes. This idea became the foundation for Eternal Peace Funeral and Cremation Services.

2021

Another significant factor behind Eternal Peace’s creation was the impact of COVID-related business closures. Adeline, previously the proud owner of the popular bar Hanovers 2 in Round Rock, Texas, faced the closure of her bar due to pandemic restrictions. Determined to adapt, she boldly decided to transform her building into an open-concept funeral home designed to offer personalized services for families of all backgrounds. After extensive remodeling, Eternal Peace opened its doors in 2021.

She specializes in creating personalized services that honor all family traditions and wishes. Her expertise extends beyond funeral services, as she is also a licensed real estate broker. This additional skill brings her unique insights into estate planning and a proven ability to negotiate with insurance companies. Adeline acts as a steadfast advocate for families, ensuring they receive the full benefits of their estates.
